Can Water Cause Damage To Most Types of Floor Covering?

A: It depends on the amount of water the flooring sustained and the speed at which it was dried/extracted. If the flooring was highly saturated it is generally recommended to remove and replace and thoroughly dry and clean the subfloor prior to reinstalling.

What Causes Water Damage?

A: Most common types of water damage come from the following; leaking hot water tanks, sink drains and supply lines, corroded plumbing, HVAC condensation drain lines and pans, as well as outside forces such as flooding and wind driven rain.

How Do I Know My Insurance Company Will Cover The Damage?

A: There is no guarantee that your insurance company will cover the damage to your home. In addition, there may be special endorsements or limits to your actual coverage. A good restoration contractor, will be on the phone and notifying the insurance company, and possibly the adjuster, as to what caused the damage and to confirm coverage. A good restoration contractor will never tell a customer that coverage is granted. We are not insurance professionals, and we do not know your insurance policy.

How Can I Avoid Water Damage In My Home?

A: Have your hot water tank and HVAC system check at a minimum once a year by a licensed professional. Check your attic and crawlspace periodically for signs of leaking. Also, have your gutters cleaned / check at the change of each season and to make sure downspouts force the water away from the home.

How Does Your Lower Cost Mold Removal Help Make My Property Safe From hazardous Mold?

A: We use our exclusive TAVS system. The surface with actual mold growth is treated with our safer surface mold killer first. The safer surface mold killer also removes all signs of mold staining and leaves behind a protective barrier that lasts for several years and stops new mold from growing on the treated surface.

After the visible mold growth is gone, we then treat the entire area with our propitiatory Technologically Advanced Vapor System (TAVS) This treats the air and penetrates deep into all the surfaces of the room being treated to ensure that the airborne mold spores are dead.

How Do I Know That It Is Safe To Let Strangers Into My House?

A: In this day and age, you need to be very careful as to who you let in your home. Many times when you have an emergency, you are making a call to an unknown company, and they are entering and taking over your home within hours. Make sure that the company you are dealing with has number one, has an A or better rating with the Better Business Bureau, and two, has employees that have been fully screened with full background checks including criminal backgrounds. RoxStar Restoration makes sure all of its employees are fully screened so our customers feel safe with who is coming in their home.

Do You Remove Mold From Attics or Crawlspaces?

A: YES! In fact attics and crawlspaces are our specialty. We have been told that our prices are often less than half of other mold remediation companies in the local area.

Can You Make The Mold Harmless From The Inside Of My Walls?

A: Yes we can.

Will The Mold Stains Still Be Visible When You're Done?

A: NO! You will not see any evidence of mold in the treated area. In fact we have been told many times that the area where the mold was located looked better than before they had mold growth.

Do You Perform Mold Testing Services?

A: Yes. We can do both air and surface testing at a very affordable prices.

How Long Will It Take To Remove The Mold From My Property?

A: It really depends on the size of the job, but we can usually finish within a day for most mold removal projects.

Should I Do Anything After The Mold Project Is Complete?

A: Jump up and down with joy! You just got your mold removed for half or nearly half the cost of other mold remediation companies.

What Is TAVS?

A: TAVS stands for Technologically Advanced Vapor System. I invented this system with the client in mind. I believe it’s time that mold remediators stop over charging for mitigation services and help blue collar Americans afford to live in a non-mold environment.

Why Do Other Mold Companies Charge So Much More Than Your Company?

A: The short answer is because they can. The long answer is because the media has turned mold in your homes or businesses into a total “WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE FROM MOLD POISONING” circus. Don’t take this the wrong way. Mold can be extremely dangerous to have growing in your home or business. It affects everyone differently depending on your own immune system, but most of the time removing mold from your home or business can be completed in as little as one day and bring your home back to safe/normal indoor mold spore levels. I understand the dangers very well because my wife was diagnosed with mold poisoning 20 years ago in New Mexico, and now she has a weakened immune system that continues to this day. The bottom line is there is no need to OVER CHARGE the property owners because of the media scare. Mold can be removed completely from your property in just a day. You deserve to get your mold removed “SAFER-CHEAPER-FASTER” and that’s exactly what we can do for you.
